Don't tell me they keep some left-hand-drive hire vehicles over there just
for you poor old yank refugees so you wouldn't spit the dummy. I'll bet
they didn't let you drive on the WRONG side of the road though :-)
On the other hand that shows how desperate those Poms too poor to leave (or
too stupid to leave) are to grab a few dollars towards their escape fund.
Perhaps I am being unkind and they are just being kind to others with a
disability :)
Do the yanks have a matching offer for the visiting Poms, with RHD hire
vehicles available ? Probably not Roy, old boy. Perhaps there is a big
market opportunity there for you - I can see it already. Roy taking America
by storm with a chain of franchises offering Americans a chance to
acclimatise themselves to driving from the RIGHT side of the vehicle
before they take their OS trips. WOW!
I think I am wasted here just being a GP when I could be over there in
Detroit dictating motoring trends. :-)
I think I better stop before someone "wastes" me.
