When I took those other "old Folks " from Melburnt up there we left
Townsville after breakfast and arrived at Cape York itself ( yes, the real
tip, not the place where rubbish like you gets dumped) the next afternoon
in time for all the tourists to walk out to the tip of the tip before dark
so us old folks can mosey OK as long as the passengers and hangers-on don't
anchor us down too much with their interminable requests "to stop at the
shop for a "pop" etc :-)
