I can offer you my experience. I have a group of seven M boesmani in an 75
gallon aquarium. They spawn prolifically in a clump of jave moss that's
about the size of a softball. The water is very hard -- 300ppm (liquid rock
here in limestone country) and about 78F. I feed them often a mixture of
brine, bloodworms, skeeter larvae, spirulina, tubifex and one of several
flake foods (OSI). Raising the fry is no different from any other M. Hope
