Julie''s suggestion of the "Fishkeeper's Guide" series is an excellent one
I have several and all are good. ISBN 0 86101 348 4 is on South American
Catfishes. Titles include other specific groups such as Central American
Cichlids, Livebearer's, Fancy Goldfish, Koi etc but they also have a range
of general topics like Fish Breeding, The tropical Aquarium, Community
Fishes etc

Glad we could help, as that would've been an expensive mistake if I recall
the price they want for that book correctly. ;-)
There are some good, older fish-breeding books out, and some of em even by
TFH. Do what I do (and others too I'm sure) and hit your local used
bookstores to see what you can dig up. Also, there is a series of books,
"Fishkeeper's Guide To...," that has a volume on breeding. Used to be
Salamander Press, but is by Tetra now. Anyone have an ISBN for him? I
don't own this one (yet). Depending on your interests, you might as well
just look for books on the specific types of fish you are interested in,
rather than books on breeding in general. These will tend to give much
more detailed/specific info for the spp you want to breed.
