Well, that's a little cold for them including me :-)

Brisbane got down to 4C (40F) this winter and that's very very cold for us.
Although other areas around Brisbane went down to 1C (34F) Barry M has an
outside pond with honey blue-eyes (P.mellis) and maybe he can tell us what
temperature it went down too. You will be surprised what temperatures the
rainbowfishes and blue-eyes can handle.

20 C translates into about 68 F, if I

I think you will find that most catfish can handle lower temperatures too. I
think we would be surprised at the 'winter' temperatures of the amazon
particularly in the dense rainforests. I think they would handle 20C (72F)
very well?
