Well, there are at least two reasons why the fish look so
great. First Neil is an excellent photographer. Then he
seems to take rather long times to make fotos (with the
camera) what also causes brighter colors as if you use
just a single electronic flashlight from the front or the
top. Coloration depends also on the film you use. E.g.
Fuji makes much better colors than Kodak, which seems
to be colder in coloration. And last but not least most
of Neil's slides we have seen are copies - and that makes
them also more colorful if different films are used for
the slide itself and the copy.
Let's be glad that we have such a good photographer! And
if you are an experienced keeper and you stand up at an
earlier time as usual (sunrise), you will see most of the
colors Neil shows us.
