I know how that store owner feels, as we have trouble selling $15 bows
too. BUT... his reply to you showed that he has not tried very hard to do
anything about it, and does not really care what he sells as long as he
makes a profit. That is a bad attitude and should not be supported. Use
your "green vote" (or whatever color money you have) to let him know how
you feel about this. Also, tell your friends that you personally do not
recommend his shop. If you're in a club, an article on your views of
rainbow hybrids, and how to spot them so as to avoid buying them, would
be another good thing to do to let people know not to buy those things
he's passing off for rainbows (w/out mentioning him specifically, of
course). If he can't sell 'em, he won't get more anytime soon. If we get
the word spread far enough around, people will know to avoid the things
and maybe fewer of them will appear in the shops, etc. One can always
hope anyhow... :-)
