Sorry you had difficulty with the Signifer eggs. I hope
through this discussion we can find a more productive way to
ship eggs. Blue eyes present a bit of a problem in that they
are not prolific enough to wait for them to fill a mop.
Perhaps the harvested eggs could be placed in a mop and
shipped that way. BTW not that it would have mattered but
I'm pretty sure that those vials I sent you were at least
30% air. Having received stuff that was 99% water, I've been
consciously avoiding that pit fall. As I said though I don't
think it really matters. I think the crucial factor here is
the small volume of water that can rapidly go bad
should one egg die. I think in the future I'll try shipping
them in mops. That means more postal cost but it may result
in more eggs making it.
