I have tried upgrading the diet of microworms by using soaked dog and cat
food as a medium but didn't see any long-term benefit. In the past a German
breeder I knew used a special vitamin mix to soak his white worms and
micros in before feeding - he swore that it improved growth and breeding.
As far as cannibalism in Mogurnda fry is concerned, I think it occurs with
all fry to some extent. They either compete with each other for the
available food ( and the bigger they are the more they eat - and that
includes each other, and therefor the quicker they grow). Regular culling
is the only answer if you wish to raise large numbers. If you only wish to
raise a few then perhaps letting nature take it's course to some extent is
OK.
