Since noone seems to know "roger", perhaps a more
appropriate question would be who else besides Doley is
exporting fish from Australia. As someone said they've seen
Doley's farm and know his quality is good. While that may
well be true, I on my own can't afford to import the minimum
quantities required nor would I have anywhere to put them.
The wholesaler in Toronto can't afford Doley's stuff because
by the time they land in Canada and he gets his share and
the retailer gets his cut and the government gets their cut
the price is so far through the roof that no one can afford
to buy them! Remember these aren't rare African cichlids;-)
So while Doley's stuff is great the only source currently
available to me is someone other than Doley! So unless I
have a buddy going to New Guinea or Australia I have to take
what I can get! I need to know as much as possible about the
source of these fish before I shell out hard earned green.
So, once again, is there any one else besides John Doley
who is reputable?
