What ever you do please do not release any fish into the wild whether they be
wild fish you've taken, or fish you've bred. One can potentially mess with
the gene pool (since the offspring you release will only be from a few
individuals) and there is also a chance of releasing (unknowingly) diseases
into wild populations from your aquariums (even though none may be evident at
the time--most diseases only become apparent when your fish are stressed).
Due to those points listed above it is also illegal and gives aquarists a bad
name too.
