My experience is that; at the dosage concentrations here,
ie. for the 3 day total of 1.5 gram in a 10 gallon (aprox 40 liter)
tank of water, the low solubility of metronidazole does not appear
to be a a problem, and each day, each 500 milligram tablet dissolves
completely when simply dropped in the tank, in about an hour.
