Either your Incisus was very spoilt by his previous owner and became very
particular or you have a problem that I have never yet experienced with
Rainbows - anorexia. I suggest you remove the mirrorback from the aquarium
so he can't see how big and bulky and macho he looks or better still get
some colour photos of female incisus and hold them up in front of the tank
to get his hormones running and perhaps his appetite too ;-)
It may be possible to contact the previous owner and find out what he was
eating before.
