I think the Furcatus are the species that managed to negotiate the
international date line in a westwards direction - originally they were
from the same line as Derek Onishi's.

Our Conniaes are all descended from the original fish that Barry Crockford
caught before the "ban" back in the early 80's as far as I know. However
people like Gordon Hides insist that there were some that showed more of a
blue and white cast while others were yellowish.

I don't know how those Furcatus got to Hawaii however - perhaps Mach could
enquire? I think there was another breeder over there besides Charles
Nishihiri - does Mike ?Yamamoto ring a bell?
