Ok, I think you're right!
I don't know the 'customary' way, because I am new to the list!
But I try to introduce myself:

My name is Karsten Zander and I'm from Germany (so my english is really bad,
sorry). I'm a member of the IRG.
I'm keeping M. boesemanni, M. praecox and Ps. gertrudae (A great looking
little fish, their colour is like honey, but I don't know the location of
this special fish) yet. I've also Tateurndina occelicauda. (I don't
know the english common names, so I've to use the scientific ones.)
I'm interested in all Pseudomugils and all smaller other bows, because of
the limited space in my tanks, and in smaller Freshwater gobies.
(I'm also keeping some Apistos and Rineloricaria, so bow's are not my only
favourites.)

BTW, has anyone ever seen blue (!) Ps. conniea? There's a book in Germany
called "Aquarien-Atlas" showing a picture of Ps. conniae with blue fins and
a slightly blue body. I've never seen living ones.
If there's anybody on the list with these beauties, maybe he can send me
eggs?

So I think this is enough introduction for myself. If it is not customary
enough, tell what is customary.

I posted a few messages to the list before, but with very little response
(i.e. no response). Because of your message, I think, I know why there's
so little response :-)

BTW, there's one thing for all listmembers: In nearly every reply to a
message in this list, there are much quotations. I think, too much.
Think about if it is really necessary to quote huge texts, and post them
to everybody in the list three or four times (because everybody is doing
this). There are people in the list, who have to pay for every kbyte they
receive. Just a thougt...
