For those of you who don't care about all the particulars anyone that does
daylight savings in the US, come to the IRC 2 hours later. For those that
don't, like us in AZ, come one hour later.
The so many hours next day/yesterday stuff is confusing, it's easier if you
all just add or subtract total hours. For example Alan and Andrew were 18
hours ahead of AZ time before (those of you in CO were on the same time) but
with their time change they will now be 19 hours ahead of AZ and with the
rest of you going daylight savings (we don't need any more daylight down
here<g>)they will be 20 hours ahead of CO.
In conclusion, for all those that do daylight savings which is most:
Pacific add 21 hours to your time to get their time
Mountain add 20 hours to your time to get their time
Central add 19 hours to your time to get their time
Eastern add 18 hours to your time to get their time
Atlantic add 17 hours to your time to get their time
to go from their time to your time just subtract that many hours.
If they continue to do the irc at 2pm on Saturday afternoon then that will
be in daylight savings times in the US:
Pacific 5pm Friday
Mountain 6pm Friday
Central 7pm Friday
Eastern 8pm Friday
Atlantic 9pm Friday
Add one hour if you don't do daylight savings. For example in AZ we are in
Mountain time so we would come at 6pm but since we don't do daylight savings
we would come at 7pm instead.
