[acn-l] Desperately seeking small Lates niloticus for an experiment

Hi, everybody. The Kaufman lab is looking for 5-8 small (<20cm, even
very small is okay) Nile perch, preferably from Lake Victoria but this is
not essential. We are currently studying behavioral and metabolic
aspects
of Nile perch predation on haplochromine cichlids. These data will help
us to make our fishery and conservation models more realistic.

Normally we have been getting specimens through Metro Pet New Jersey, who
gets them from Nigeria. This well is currently dry. Open to all
suggestions.

Please post this request on other relevant lists if you can- e.g., AZA,
ACA, etc.
