Thanks to all who responded so promptly, and kindly! Responses were
received from Kai Erik Witte, Dr. Paul Loiselle, Patrick de Rham, and Rick
Haeffner. The internet is a wonderful place!

In summary, although there are a couple of species of Pachypanchax that have
not yet been named/described, the fish in question is not one of them. The
name "surinensis" is a simple mislabelling of some sakamaryi (probably some
cichlidiot's doing), and should be forever forgotten and not repeated. The
guilty party will be lashed 50 times with a wet noodle.

Thanks for the assistance in fixing this potential problem. The naming
error will not be passed on with the fish.
