The Institute of Marine Biology of Crete website team is now engaged in a
major restructuring of the site, to take account of the continued expansion
of its research facilities. The restructuring has given rise to a new
department, Marine Ecology and Biodiversity, and this has enabled us to add
a new feature, Project Closeup, to the familiar lineup. All the Departments
will be updated over the course of the summer.
The many daily accesses to the JAGO and the CINCS case studies prompted us
to reconstruct the Case Studies section, to make it easier to access, and
we have now added the long-promised case studies on Lagoons and Wetlands,
entitled GIALOVA and PILOS. Enjoy browsing your way round our updated site
which offers these interesting new features which continue to emphasise our
policy of providing services to the marine science research sector.
