The 7th International Wildlife Law Conference will take place on April
13, 2001 at the Washington College of Law at American University in
Washington, DC. The theme for the conference will be "The Convention on
Biological Diversity: A Ten Year Report Card." Individuals interested in
proposing panels or individual papers are invited to submit abstracts
using the site's online abstract submission form,
http://eelink.net/~asilwildlife/programs2.html, or directly to me at the
address listed below. The deadline for submitting proposals is September
15 and early submissions are strongly encouraged. Participants will also
be invited to draft longer versions of their papers for inclusion in a
special symposium issue of the Journal of International Wildlife Law &
Policy, www.jiwlp.com.
We anticipate limited funding for speakers from outside North America.
Also, if you wish to be apprised of conference updates, including the
availability of registration materials, please sign up on the site's
announcement list. I hope that you can join us in Washington.
