If they were not originally in the Leichhardt they are now. 138 were stocked
into Lake Julius and 89 into Lake Moondarra (both are impoundments on the
Leichhardt system near Mt Isa). I'm not sure of the date but late 80s or
early 90s is close. I don't know if reproducing populations have established
in these dams.

Why not ask the tackle shop blokes in Mt Isa?
