I normally use rainwater at home but this tank was at work and I have
been using tap water in it for the last 2 years. It gets a pretty
rough time because I spend a lot of time in the forest and have to
depend on other people to feed the fish for weeks at a time. After
one six week trip I came back to find the tank full of "snow". None
of the fish actually died but some of the crustaceans did.
