Cobb of the SFAS (their club secretary) was a fantastic host and is
someone I would certainly hope to remain friends with. He gave me and
my friend, Kriss Evans, a ride to the behind the scenes tour of the
Steinhart Aquarium and then gave us a mini-tour of some places on
Clement Street, the Golden Gate Park and turned us and Brian Lang onto a
fantastic Chinese meal that fed all four of us for $18.00!!! I can't
say enough kind words about Jon. The SFAS members did a wonderful job
in organizing this convention and he certainly went above and beyond the
call of duty in his role of ambassador.

Hello all, just got some sleep and decided to go through the mail. I would
like to join Ray in thanking the SFAS members for putting on a great
convention. I would also especially like to thank Jonathan Cobb for his
hospitality. He went far and above the call of duty in showing us around San
Francisco like he did. Kim Goodwin also did a great job in organizing
everything. Thanks also to Gary Lange, I can't imagine a much better group of
speakers. After Cary's talk, I promise to do a better job of making eggs
available to the rest of the group. I am as guilty as anyone of getting some
eggs, raising the fry, and just enjoying the adults without sharing them.I
promise to do better.
You may have guessed from this note that I really enjoyed myself. You would
be right. Later.
