I have trifaciata Archer River. They are young but the young male is
beginning to show colors and I think that he will be glorious when he
matures. I got a few fry about the size of baby guppies several months ago.
They are going to be a nice addition to my praecox, madagascars and
herbertaxelrodi.

Thanks, I'm heading back to get another trifasciata,
hopefully I'll actually get
a female this time! Today, one of the two were displaying,
and he clearly had
a pointed anal fin. And I think the other would too, if he
were displaying. That,
along with your info, tells me I've got two boys.

The trifasciatas have colored up some in the quarentine
tank. Now the fins and
tail are showing color, basically red with a wide black
border.
