I just read in a recent edition of Practical Fishkeeping in which there is a
recommended treatment given for Camallanus worms by a Dr. Peter Burgess.
He writes: "Your best bet is to contact the local vet and ask for a
prescription. Request Febendazole or Levasimole". he goes on to give the
following dose rate for Febendazole as 6-8 mg per gal (English Gallon),
redosing every 7 days for a total of 3 weeks. I assume 'Febendazole' is a
spelling mistake for Fenbendazole.
