Welcome to the list. As far as your Honeys are concerned I have a few
suggestions - try filling the tank and do it gradualy with aged water - I
don't think 5.8 is necessary for breeding and may even be a deterrent.
3 gallons is not a lot of water and even 6 is smaller than most places they
woud be breeding in in the wild.
Otherwise your conditions sound OK to me and I think it will just be a
matter of time. In Brisbane I keep them outside all year and fry grow up in
with parents in containers as small 15 gallons
