Speaking of PetSmart. Sometimes their prices are high. I saw some
praecox in El Paso, TX for $15.00. They probably had 30 of them. I
went back a month later and they still had them...for $5.00. Can't tell
you how nice they were because I've not seen praecox other than those.
Hopefully that will change in about another week when I get some from
Chris :-)

I bought some nice looking lacustris there once for $8.00 ea. (before I
had ever seen a privately bred fish) then gave them away when I got some
lacustris from Roy. I must say the ones I got from Roy are nicer
looking fish.

Seems without a doubt that the only (and in most cases cheaper, I've
seen) way to get good rainbows is to get them from reliable sources. I
will look at the fish and fish prices in pet stores but will NEVER buy
another rainbow in one no matter how good it looks.

Anyway, I could babble on about that.
