I have seen what I assumed was brassii on a couple of
occasions. I remembered seeing a particularly nice
specimen completely submerged in a stream south of
Sorong, IJ. It was narrow leafed and short as well.
If I remember correctly all the leaves were no longer
than 4 inches. The specimens itself was some 2 feet
across. Very beautiful. I brought back a piece (it
was easier than, no phytosanitary cert. needed), but
it was hard to grow. Imagine that, a difficult
Microsorum! It hung around for 4 or 5 years, always
grew a littl, but never flourished.
Hey Gary, if you don't mind me asking, what
rainbowfish did you manage to get back? Just thought
I would ask out of curiosity.
