All this talk about wood makes me wonder if the two pieces of Mopani
wood may be responsible for the cloudy aquarium water in my 75 g which
has the wood, but no cloudiness in my 55g or 20 g without the mopani
wood. Hmmmm. Both the 75 and 55 have rainbows, sae's, corys, live
plants and pleks (and gravel and hanging outside filters) . The
cloudiness develops usually within a few days after a water change; I
can treat it with the water clear drops but the cloudiness comes back.
The 55g that doesn't have the cloudiness does have an algae problem
(especially on the glass walls) even though it has two pleks- and one is
a bushy nose pleck which are suposed to be great algae eaters. The one
bushy nose in the 75g keeps the algae down fine.
thanks in advance for the input,
