I wonder if you might get in contact with, say, a professor from a local
university, or someone from the wildlife & fisheries, to contact them and
ask real nice. :)

I don't suppose there is any way to get someone to make this person
understand what they have is there? It would be ashame to let these fish
die w/ no offspring, given the circumstances. Maybe there is someone in
Hawaii who could convince this person to spawn these fish???
