As time goes by there will be dozens of them, Bruce, mainly from NG I guess,
but we aren't much better here in Oz.

The only service that a generic "tri" or generic "splendida" (of unknown
provenance) can do in the long run is to provide an analogue species for
newcomers to breed - it has no other worth... They can only detract from the
serious business of keeping the real McCoy alive in captivity. I harp on
this message a fair bit, I guess, but I think it is true. Although my once
vast empire is reduced to a couple of tanks now, I'd never keep a fish I
wasn't sure wasn't a true example of it's type/locality. I'd rather not
keep fish at all than keep generic "silverfish".
