What a difference a bit of interest in the "little" fish makes - it is
several years ago that David Liddle was surveying all the little waterways
around the Atherton Tableland and finding fish that had some features
reminiscent of M. eachamensis.

More recently Glynn Ayland sent me some M. eachamensis from the CREB Track
that were very colourful and looked a lot like "Utchees" even from a small
size. I hope the Bureaucrats don't start blaming aquarists for causing the
"hybrids" :-)
