Perhaps we are barking up the wrong tree with all this scat stuff - the
real meaning of what is a scat is the dung. So Scatophagus means - "Dung
eater".

Is a person who tracks and identifies animals by their trails, tracks and
scats a "scatologist"? Or perhaps one of the more vocal members of this
list should be giiven that august title. I am referring to the one who was
remarking on a passing attraction when he said, "I'd eat 5 feet of her
----(read scat equivalent) to see where it came from!" ;-)
