I think the availability of hardware and inexpensive clone parts would be
hard to find. If apple would have allowed clones then I think they would be
better off. Sometimes better is not better. Cyrix and AMD have fantastic
processors but Intel is controlling the Processor market. The world is PC
and I think it will be that way for a long time. My first two computers
were apple's but the availability of PC parts and the prices were the main
reason I switched. Look at software, fewer and fewer companies are writing
software for apples as they have such a small portion of the home computer
market. Yes they do have a lot of great features but they are clearly the
underdog. Like I said, sometimes better isn't always better. I bet out of
all the people on the list there are maybe only 15% that are apple eaters.
