The fish is Rivulus marmoratum and is one of the few US native fish I have
ever dealt with. It is the ugliest Rivulus in the world and if you know
anything about Rivulus you know this fish has to be ugly. I owned this fish
for a while and produced more fry than I could sell/give away.
Under certain conditions you can actually produce males - but they are
reguarded as being worthless to the females in that they will usually not
spawn with them. I've met a few humans like this also . . .
