My pair of M. lacustris have developed white growths over both eyes. The
growth started on the periphery of the eye and spread over the whole eye.
Both fish contracted the problem within the space of a couple of weeks. No
other fish in the same aquarium, including other rainbows, have shown any
signs of white growths over their eyes. I presume they are both nearly
blind, but they have learnt to feed OK and otherwise seem quite healthy.
What the problem/disease and can it be cured? If so how?
