I would be happy to see them all consigned to the species nova - Felis compressus.
We need a plan first , then an estimate of costs before we start a bunfight over who should support it with funding. I suspect many of the aspects that need evaluating could be designed into the field/laboratory projects for the various aquaculture/ scien
ce courses available around the country and they could be co-ordinated and integrated right from the start and would dove-tail into each other. It may be eadsier to attract sponsorship/suppoprt if such a plan was there for all to see. This would contrast
with the apparently piecemeal approach to appeals for funding at present which seem to be related to the pet projects of the applicant or other "meaningful" criteria. No wonder funding is hard to find. The relevance of the individual projects to the overa
ll plan/aims etc needs to be obvious.
There I am again , back on my soapbox. Some one please start a thread on religion or politics------
