Why would I do that since I don't consider that they need to be captive
bred for any conservation purposes or release back into the wild? The
desert goby (Chlamydogobius eremius) is not a threatened species. They
are abundant and widespread throughout most of their range. Some
populations may be smaller than what they originally were due to
decreases in spring discharge, but this is largely insignificant INHO.
