I used to keep my cyanodorsalis with some killies, Pentanadon padoxy.
I'm sure I have the spelling wrong, but I'm too lazy to walk back to the
fish room and check. :) They were both breeding but the killie fry grew
slower, and I think were eaten, at any rate now all I have left is the
female, but they did work ok together. Also while we're talking about
brackish tanks. I have mine in 50-50 water. I've been working on what
plants I might be able to grow in there. I finally got some Crypt
ciliata, which I've been wanting to try for a long time, and it's
growing in the brackish water. I also tried Java moss and jungle val.
The moss is doing ok, the val totally melted. I'd like to try some of
the giant hygro in there sometime to. I had some years ago that grew in
a less salty brackish tank and I want to see if it could take the
heavier salt content.
