If you manage to get some more Desert Gobies (Gudgeons have paired ventral
fins, gobies have them fused into a cup) try to breed them ASAP because they
tend to be annuals and mature and degenerate quite rapidly. Possibly this is
an adaptation to their harsh environment with many of their habitats being
ephemeral
