[RML] Newbie question - Melanotaenia maccullochi

Hi,
I'm wondering if Melanotaenia maccullochi would require a small amount of salt in their water or if they prefer none? The information I've seen indicates they don't need it, however I havent found a heck of a lot of information ...
Also, I've read that pH7.2 and temp 24C would be fine for them - any problems here?

If you go to my web page listed below you will find quite a lot of information of M. maccullochi and their care and keeping in captivity.
