Unfortunately the major parties tried to look the other way initially and
hope she would go away - in my opinion the substance of her assertions (if
there is any real substance) for example migration and Aboriginal policy
should have been openly debated and aired at the time so that the general
public could see that the problems lie elsewhere. That would have taken all
the wind out of her sails and the "shadowy" manipulators behind the scenes
wouldn't have a "figurehead"

Let's get back to fish shall we? They appeal to me more than politics ;-)
