G'day all,

I've recently had a bad run with all my boesmanis succumbing to some
unidentifiable disease. The affected fish have clamped fins, appear
sluggish, bodies start to lose their shape to the point that they resemble a
banana, and general inappetance. I had two batches of boesmanis in separate
tanks, and all of them died within 2-3 days of my first noticing these
symptoms. There are other bows in thse tanks, and none of them are affected
by this illness. There has not been any change to the water conditions or
diet. The only common factor is that I did some maintenance work on the two
tanks, such as adjusting the heater positions and cleaning the external
canister filter hoses.

Could it be that the moving of the heater and filter hoses could have caused
some stress, and thereby induced the outbreak of a form of TB ? Anyone got
some ideas ?
