Mike...depending on how small your fish are, egg crate is a suitable tank cover. I cover most of my tanks with it. Only blue-eyes and juvenile bows have ever managed to escape. As Al mentioned a visit to your hardware or lumber store should yield some oth

er choices.

I was at a lumber store yesterday and there was a large selection of wire meshes to choose from.

I'd fix it to your tank in some way because I'm sure Kentucky racoons are at least as smart as Ontario racoons!;-)
