I think that one important aspect is access for cleaning the glass. If the
tank is deep or wide it may be a problem cleaning the front glass. I see
Chris Drew recommending Acrylic. I haven't had much to do with them as we
don't have many in Australia, but I was under the impression it scratched
very easily?? Definately not what you want for a display aquarium. I do
agree with everything else Chris mentioned.
