Thanks for the info. I do know that parkinsoni will cross with splendida,
but wasn't aware that Glossolepis would cross with Melanotaenia. So much
for my grand plan of conserving tanks space :-)

I will be sure to implement a dedicated breeding tank scheme and won't
pull any eggs from display or grow out tanks. I haven't had enough variety
of species here to worry about this yet. Now that I'm reasonably sure that
I have no female incisus, I'll keep an eye out for some locally. I'm sure
my favorite local shop owner bypasses the females on his trips to the
wholesaler. I'll ask him to pick me out some "ugly" ones on his next trip
to Ohio.
