I had them identified by the NT Museum crustacean staff once but have
forgotten the name, I rang them again this morning and the resident
crustacean expert has gone to Queensland (some people never learn).
When I worked at the Wildlife Park we used them by the thousands to
clean up new planted aquaria, then when the fish were placed in the
exhibit they were an excellent source of live food.
Adrian does this mean you are going to set up a planted aquarium or
have you done so already.
