Here is a more detailed list of aquatics (some are marginal plants) recorded
in Australia. Most of these have been extracted from surveys undertaken by
various State Government Departments and some that Bruce throws my way
occasionally ;-) The list is by no means complete and many of these plants
you probably wont find in your aquatic plant books. Unfortunately, many of
these surveys have completed overlooked the aquatics and have concentrated
more on the terrestrial and emersed forms. Fortunately, Bruce has been
compiling lists of species he finds on his field trip, which is great. One
time ANGFA survey were a rape and plunder exercise but these days we are
becoming more environmentally aware ;-)
