My examples may not have been the best but I'm sure you understood my
drift. I'm glad to hear that some species are being bred within Oz.

I was talking of aquaculture facilities. Our dingoes already have been
genetically polluted by dogs. Doesn't Fraser Is have the only pure dingos
still around?

I don't think that species should be kept outside of their natural range
in outdoor situations where they can escape. Obviously this depends on
your climate and I'm not talking about the average suburban backyard pond
unless it is likely to be flooded or overflow into natural drainage. I
guess we'll have more on the next response I'm going to reply to. :-)
