Adrian Tappin, just an aquarist who likes to keep and breed fish? I
think you're underselling yourself a bit there. If most aquarists had
your enthusiasm for conservation and interest in fish we probably
wouldn't be having this debate. Most active people on this list don't
qualify as just aquarists IMO.
I could start another debate as to the rights and wrongs of raping and
blundering native fish but since a well known used car salesman isn't on
the list we would probably just be talking to the converted. :-) (and
he probably still wonders today why no one would tell him where redfinned
blue eyes occur....)
